Advocating for successful and sustainable infrastructure development agenda for Sri Lanka through a partnership approach between the government, the private sector and civil societies. Such inclusive partnerships to be built upon principles and values, a shared vision, and shared goals that place people and the country at the centre, at national and local level.

Lobby for compliance with key international agreements and goals such as the SDGs, the Paris Agreement etc., in terms of reducing poverty, inequality, environmental impacts and safeguarding human rights etc. This includes inclusion of safeguards on economic, social and environmental impacts of investments at all stages of infrastructure projects and delivery cycles.

Contribute towards formulation of national strategies and priorities by assisting the government in making right infrastructure investment decisions that involve civil society and citizens at all decision-making stages, invite public scrutiny and adopt a clean, transparent approach.

Facilitating the creation of large-scale benefit and inclusion, by organising meaningful multi-stakeholder participation, which includes the voices of the marginalised, vulnerable, and affected communities and also to help adopting an integrated approach which delivers benefits to the people from the design, construction, operation and maintenance of large-scale infrastructure.

Helping adopt social and environmental safeguards via participatory processes to identify, mitigate and manage social, environmental impacts.
